Age:

Species:
Goron
Gender:
Male
Alignment:
Neutral Good
Type:
Power
Size:
8' 7"
Build:
. . . He's a freaking GORON. He's BIG.
IQ:
67
Birth Place:
Death Mountain
Residence:
Um... not Death Mountain? Gets lost easily.
Occupation:
Generally can be found doing a lot of heavy lifting/carrying. He likes helping people... and usually works for free, or for very little.
Stats:
You have 21 points. Use them accordingly. For more info on how these stats work, please look at the Dice section in the rules.
Physical: 12
Mental: 4
Luck: 5
Physical Abilities:
Is VERY strong, like most Gorons, and very heavy. Can curl up into a ball and roll along at high speeds. He can also hold his breath for VERY long periods, another Goron trait.
Learned Abilities:
To go with the rolling ability, Varedi has learned how to roll uphill, a rather difficult maneuver, but it comes in handy. Besides that, he hasn't learned much, except how to dig well. And effectively carry heavy loads. He also knows enough to be able to defend himself if he's endangered, and rolling isn't going to work.
Weaknesses:
Varedi is REALLY heavy, so swimming is out of the question. So he usually walks along the bottom if crossing water is on the schedule. He's also rather slow unless he's rolling, so is pretty easy to outmaneuver.
He also has NO sense of direction, so is almost ALWAYS lost unless given a very distinct landmark to follow.
His greatest weakness, though? His natural friendliness, combined with his naivety, and generally not being very bright. It usually leaves him wide open to being manipulated by people claiming to be his friends.
Hobbies & Talents:
Map-reading (ironic, no?), Racing people, singing (BADLY), dancing (not QUITE so bad), sumo.
Personality:
Varedi is friendly to just about anyone that isn't obviously trying to hurt him, and even then, if the person STOPS trying to hurt him, he'll try to be friends. He's very naive and gullible, and will believe just about anything he doesn't know for a FACT is wrong, and is always surprised if he finds out someone's been lying to him. He enjoys helping people, especially those particularly smaller than him.
Likes:
Rocks, upbeat music, being around other people, and generally being helpful, traveling.
Dislikes:
Getting lost, being by himself, sad music, being lied to (it makes him sad).
Body Colours:
Bronzeish brown over his entire body, with grey rocky protrusions on his back, giving him a "shell", with the stone on his head almost resembling a wide mohawk. His whole body has a faint reddish tint to it, thus his nickname, "Red". He also has lighter beige body paint markings that... don't seem to come off.
Appearance:
YOU ROCK, DEEBS. :D
Clothing:
He doesn't wear much except for the normal Goron attire, which consists of a modified loincloth, and cloth wrapped around his wrists and ankles. He also owns a large bag, which he usually carries slung over one shoulder that holds all his possessions (basically, various things he's collected over time).
History:
Varedi was always a friendly Goron as a child, constantly playing with others, and was actually rather bright... until he was caught in a landslide. For an adult Goron, this would have been no problem.
But Varedi was still only a child. His shell wasn't thick enough to protect him sufficiently from the falling rocks, which resulted in him taking several harsh blows to the head. Unfortunately, this stunted Varedi's mental growth, and while he could still later comprehend "adult" concepts, he was still rather childlike in much of his mannerisms.
Fortunately, nature seemed to make up for this by gifting the Goron with truly immense strength, even for his kind. And with his friendly demeanor, he found himself helping whenever he could, and people only needed to ask. His strength was a gift that he shared with everyone who needed it, especially those who were much smaller than him, like children, or the elderly.
One day, however, Varedi decided that he needed to help EVERYONE, not just people around Death Mountain, so he left. And was promptly lost in Hyrule Field. He didn't mind too much though, since he always managed to find people to help. And he still is, in fact, helping in the building of New Hyrule Castle Town.
Anything else?
